Taking the Studio for a Walk  - Fatima Uzdenova

Starting from

Join artist Fatima Uzdenova and Gokkadjan - a presence that arises through her walking practice - for a guided session exploring walking as both an artistic medium and a way of deepening awareness. The workshop will begin with listening and grounding exercises to help participants connect with their bodies and the space. It will then move into a series of individual and group walking activities, where participants gather observations and impressions to create a “portrait” of the studio. These portraits will reflect both personal perception and the shared experience of the group, highlighting how walking can turn an ordinary environment into a space of artistic possibility.

Unfolding Journeys- Arnold Barretto

Starting from

Migration is not only about moving from one place to another, but also about what we carry with us, what we leave behind, and what we choose to share. In this bookmaking workshop with artist Arnold Barretto, participants will explore themes of identity and migration through the delicate form of petal books - folded paper structures that open gently like petals. With guided prompts in writing and drawing, each person will create a handmade book that serves as a personal space for memory, storytelling, and reflection on identity and migration, both seen and unseen.
